Bespoke Alligator Strap for ATOWAK SPACESHIP

I was approached by a customer with an ATOWAK SPACESHIP Limited Edition Diamond Red watch. Despite the high quality of the original FKM rubber strap, the manufacturer did not offer an alternative. In addition, the standard strap was too long. The client wished to customize the original strap or make a new one from black alligator leather that would perfectly fit her wrist and at the same time harmonize with the unique design of the watch.

To accomplish this task, I used the original FKM rubber strap as a donor. I carefully removed the attachment element to the watch case, shaped it into the desired shape and used it as a base for the new strap. Special attention was paid to the geometry and dimensions, as it had to fit perfectly to a woman’s wrist. The new strap was made with the client’s anatomical features in mind.

I used German materials from Jaeger to reinforce the construction of the strap, providing exceptional durability and reliability. The exterior of the strap is made of black alligator leather. To ensure comfort and protection from moisture, the lining is made of hypoallergenic water-repellent leather.
