Custom strap for Panerai Luminor PAM00104 – Black Alligator

It’s not just about selecting the right leather — every detail must be replicated: the thickness, fit, geometry, stitching style, and proportions (24 mm at the lugs and 22 mm at the buckle). And one aspect that should never be overlooked is ergonomics.

Many factory-made straps are created without consideration for wrist ergonomics or comfort. They’re often flat and retain the memory of that shape, which causes discomfort when worn for the first time — pressing against certain areas until they gradually adapt. In contrast, all of my straps are shaped with a natural anatomical curve from the start, ensuring comfort from the very first wear.

This new strap was made from premium black alligator leather with a matte texture. It perfectly matches the strong, iconic lines of the Panerai Luminor Marina Automatic PAM00104 (44 mm case diameter) and integrates smoothly with the original deployant clasp.
