A custom alligator strap for the Hublot Big Bang Earl Gray Gold Hematite was crafted for a client who requested a replacement for the worn original. This model is remarkable for its unique color harmony: satin-finished gold contrasts elegantly with the deep gray dial. The combination of refined gray and matte gold gives the watch both expressiveness and understated elegance.

The original Hublot Big Bang strap, despite its quality, had reached the end of its life. The leather was worn out and the silicone base had torn. For a watch of this level, replacing the strap is not only about comfort but also about maintaining its aesthetics and integrity.

After considering different options, we decided on a new strap made of gray alligator leather. The lining was crafted from water-resistant, hypoallergenic calfskin in black, ensuring comfort and durability. The strap’s construction is reinforced with materials from Jaeger Reinforcements (Germany) to preserve its shape and prevent deformation. Hand stitching was done using MeiSi Super Fine waxed linen thread.

The new Hublot Big Bang strap seamlessly continues the watch’s design. The gray alligator matches the dial, balances with the gold case elements, and highlights the overall style.
