Bespoke Belt in Black Saffiano Leather

This belt was created as a natural continuation of a previous project — a watch strap made from the same black Saffiano leather. After receiving the strap, the client wanted to carry that aesthetic further into other accessories. Step by step, a cohesive set began to form — reserved, functional, and expressive.

Saffiano leather, with its signature crosshatch texture and subtle matte finish, stands out not only for its visual clarity but also for its durability and resistance to wear. The inner side of the belt is reinforced with a water-repellent lining, making it especially practical for daily use — a valuable feature for those who appreciate both aesthetics and function.

The belt is 40 mm wide. The buckle, crafted in Italy from solid brass, is covered in the same leather as the belt itself. This solution ensures a seamless look and turns the buckle into an integrated part of the overall design rather than a separate accent. The entire piece reads as one — minimal, refined, and thoughtfully unified.

Every stitch is made by hand using the saddle stitch technique and waxed MeiSi Super Fine linen thread. Known for its strength and longevity, this stitch doesn’t unravel if one thread breaks — a hallmark of craftsmanship meant to last. It’s a quiet commitment to quality and tradition.

The belt was made strictly to the client’s personal measurements. This approach allows for not just a proper fit, but the feeling of something made precisely for you — without compromise.
