Bespoke Cognac Alligator Strap for Breitling Super Ocean

This bespoke strap was created for a Breitling Superocean Heritage B20 Automatic 44, reference UB2030121B1S1.

The watch combines stainless steel with 18-karat red gold and has substantial 44 mm proportions, so the replacement strap needed to feel visually and structurally appropriate to the watch rather than simply match its lug width.

Cognac alligator leather was chosen for the upper layer. Its warm brown tone creates a natural connection with the red-gold details of the case, while the pronounced texture gives the strap enough visual presence for a large sports watch.

The strap was developed specifically around the watch’s proportions and the original Breitling folding clasp. White contrast stitching reinforces the more technical, instrument-like character of the Superocean Heritage while keeping the overall composition restrained.

The construction includes structural reinforcement, a moisture-resistant hypoallergenic lining and hand saddle stitching with linen thread.

The result is a bespoke alternative to the standard strap configuration, developed specifically for this Breitling rather than adapted from a generic ready-made pattern.
